Frame prices are from GBP £160 & sunglasses from £185 excluding shipping that typically costs £15 to US. All products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase. We are a small niche manufacturer and produce finished goods in numerous color variations and for this reason, reserve the right to replace or repair faulty eyewear that is covered by our guarantee with similar colors but not always identical colors. Inward as well as outward shipping charges on returns are the responsibility of the customer. Exchange items will not be dispatched until the the return shipping charges have been paid.

ORDERING
We manufacture far too many different frames and sunglasses in numerous variations and having a shopping cart on our website is not feasible. We do not sell through any shops other than our own store Covent Garden, London. Individual world-wide customers order directly from us using email. However, as our website shows but a very small selection of the frames we make, we will need to guide you through, should you wish to make a purchase. Firstly, if there is a particular style you like please email the details, for example page on our website where the frame is shown with its position. Alternatively, forward a jpeg image of it. We will then forward further information such as sizes, colors and of course prices, etc. as well as whether there are other similar models that you might be interested in.

At present we do not sell at trade prices to any optician anywhere. Eyewear we make is sold exclusively at Opera Opera. However, in the medium term we are considering the possibility of supplying just a few optical retailers worldwide. In line with our mission statement that ‘small is beautiful’ and the nature of our hands-on business we do not envisage, now or in the foreseeable future, requiring the services of distributors and agents.

Return Policy

Standard stock items
Online purchases are not a substitute for trying on the frames in person. One authorized return of standard stock item per sale is allowed within 14 days of receipt provided the item(s) are in their original condition. Original, return & additional shipping and insurance is the buyer's responsibility and is non-refundable. Additional shipping must be paid before an exchange will be dispatched. All exchanges must be pre-authorized by us and orders from outside United Kingdom must be marked as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’ & ‘NO VAT OR DUTY DUE’ in order to avoid taxes.

NO REFUNDS on any items & we do not hire out eyewear – advertising, film, theater companies etc.etc. please take note.

Custom made & bespoke items
For obvious reason we are unable to offer exchanges for one-off frames and sunglasses specially made to customers’ requests.

Method of Dispatch
The most economic method of dispatch is using insured British Royal Mail. Following shipping we will provide you with a receipt or tracking number. Most deliveries take place within 14 days and in many cases a lot sooner. However, should an item be lost or delayed, Royal Mail insist on waiting at least 30 days before investigation can begin & it can take significantly longer for claims for lost items to be settled through an insurance claim. We are unable to provide exchanges until this claim has been settled.

On the specific request of the buyer the order can be dispatched using couriers such as DHL, Fedex or UPS. Please note the costs can be 4 or 5 times the Royal Mail charges & experience has shown it is very likely you will be asked to pay import duties & taxes – if buying from outside Europe.
